About ALM

These are general-purpose round mouse skates made from Duralumin (A2017), a type of aluminum alloy known for being harder and lighter than standard aluminum.
Thanks to its high hardness, you can directly feel the texture of the mousepad surface through your fingertips.
The glide is smooth and slick, with a controlled overall feel.

About aging

This mouse skate is machined from the material, so there may be tiny cutting marks (such as invisible burrs) on the initial surface. A certain period of break-in is required for these cutting marks to even out. It is recommended to use an old or inexpensive mouse pad during the initial break-in period, as damage to the mouse pad fibers may occur during the first 2 to 4 hours of use.

• Sinks less than the 6.8mm Balanced and maintains low contrast

• Compatible with soft mousepads

• Flat base offers high stability even with relaxed control

• No contrast; optimized for precise tracking

About the Manufacturing Method

nTech Skates are precision-machined from solid material, offering the highest accuracy in shape reproduction compared to other manufacturing methods.
While other methods often result in noticeable edge resistance when used on mousepads, our skates—being fully machined—have no such constraints.
This enables a completely smooth transition from top to bottom with zero edge drag, delivering an exceptionally consistent glide.
